Name: Forest Frontiers
Scenario #1
Description: Deep in the forest, build a thriving theme park in a large cleared
area.
Objective: To have 250 guests in your park with a park rating of
at least 600 by the end of Year 1.
Difficulty: 1
Forest Frontiers is one of the easiest parks. To start out, open the park, with an Admission Price of 0$ (relax, you can raise it soon). The next thing you need to do is set Research to Maximum. Invest in: Thrill Rides and Shops/Stalls.
Add up 2 Gentle Rides and the two Thrill Rides. Next, add up the stalls they offer (and a bathroom). For prices of everything, please see the Pricing thread.
Now you can raise your park fee to $1. (when the Guests are Commenting the fee is low, raise it to 5. Then to 10, after to 15, and then a final time to 20. Do not raise after, as it will eat up all the guests money. After you get more Thrill Rides, and the Info Kiosk, Invest in Roller Coasters until you get the Steel. When you do, build a Shuttle Loop close to where the park expands out. Add it as close as you can to the Entrance, while still being able to have a decent length queue line.
Progress your way into the park, adding thrill and gentle rides along the way. As for food, add one Drink, a main Food (Pizza or Burger Stall), and two snack stalls (Ice Cream, French Fries, Popcorn, Cotton Candy, etc). If you don't want to add them close, add them periodically (Drink stall with salty foods, like Popcorn and French Fries, or at least close to those kinds). Don't forget Bathrooms!
You should beat this place the first time around!
Best rides to add:
Swinging Inverter Ship
Steel Mini (Crazy Caterpillar, WGS's Ladybird Launch)
Steel (Shuttle Loop)
Go Karts
Staff
Handymen. Have 1-2 close to the rides and paths (set them to be around there). As for others, set them to do everything but Cut Grass. You should have 3-4 depending on the size of your park.
Mechanics. Set each one's area around 2-3 rides that are close. Have some that don't have an area too. Total: 6+ depending on ride amount.
Security Guards. Have one from beginning. For every 150 people in your park, hire another one. It all depends on your park size and people in the park.
Entertainers. Have one near the Entrance/Exit. And for long queue lines, hire one and make its area the queue line. Only for queue's that are 7+ minutes.
