Name: Leafy Lake
Scenario #3
Description: Starting from scratch, build a theme park around a large lake.
Objective: To have at least 500 guests in your park with a park
rating of at least 600 by the end of Year 3.
Difficulty 2
Open your park. Next, set Research to Max, and Invest in Thrill Rides. Start out by going around the beginning of the paths (from entrance) and adding Gentle Rides and Scrambled Eggs. Then, add stalls around the park, make 2 sets. Add bathrooms too! Hopefully, a ride will be coming out soon, so wait for it then add the Thrill ride throughout the park, say 2-3 times.
If you notice on the Park Map feature, your park goes deep behind the lake. Leave this alone, as later it will become a Coaster Canyon (not referring to the Scenario, there will just be only Roller coasters here). This park is hard because of its size and lack of rides. If you notice that none of your rides are being rode, make a steel mini over the water, it adds Excitement. If you get a water ride (marked as thrill rides to developers), stop Thrill Rides and invest in only in Shops/Stalls. When you get the Info Kiosk and 1-2 more food stalls, invest in thrill and coasters. If you have money to spare, start clearing out the tree barrier between the lake and back of the park. Then add up another Steel mini and any other designs you may have.
Really, all I can say is keep adding up Rollercoasters. If you get the Steel, add up tons of Shuttle Loops, as most of the guests prefer high Intensity rides.
Best Rides to add:
Steel Roller Coaster
Go Karts
Boat Hire
Staff
Handymen. 5+ Depending on high intensity rides and size of park
Mechanics. 7+ Set each ones area to around 2-3 rides close together. Remember to have ones without a set area!
Security Guards. Have one from beginning. For every 150 people in your park, hire another one. It all depends on your park size and people in the park.
Entertainers. Have one near the Entrance/Exit. And for long queue lines, hire one and make its area the queue line. Only for queue's that are 7+ minutes.
